One of docDownload's earliest members has offered us a Project timeline in Microsoft Project 98. This is a system development project. It only has 5 stages and 15 steps for the whole project, but a very useful quickie when you are doing your early planning on the back of an envelope. There are other versions of this in J-2002 and J-2003. Presented in GANTT format.
