Code of Ethics - Residential Aged Care

This code of ethics for a residential aged care facility begins with two basic concepts: the "mission" of the Home and the "reason for aged care" in the modern world. It considers the needs of the resident, both "human needs", applicable to all residents, and "personal needs", particular to this resident. It generates the rules for "duty of care" by the provider and in doing so identifies some actions that are ethically commensurate with duty of care and some actions that are ethically incompatible with duty of care. International corporate policy.
