Code of Ethics - Restaurant

This code of ethics for a Restaurant seeks to understand the ethical concerns associated with providing a meal for a price under current conditions in Australia. It looks at what is a meal and looks at the place a restaurant occupies physically and socially in the life of the eater. It looks at legal requirements and other requirements that have developed over time and how these are changing. Nutritional considerations are becoming more and more important to restaurants, whether they like it or not. It explains the key ethical impact of nutritional considerations on a restaurant in current Australian conditions. It explains why these ethical considerations are becoming unavoidable. It develops a new code of ethics statement based on these ethical considerations. International corporate policy with an Australian (Western first world) bias
