*OH&S/EH&S Model - highest level
THIS IS ONLY A DIAGRAM. Occupational Health and Safety is a complex issue. It is not just the application of one bit of legislation, but the interaction between a myriad of Acts, mainly at the State level, plus related occupational, organisational, environmental and other issues. All of these issues need to be taken into account when designing the OH&S/EH&S policy manual and writing the related policy, procedures and work instructions. This Model at the highest level is offered to help you to begin developing the OH&S/EH&S policy manual and thinking about OH&S/EH&S duties and responsibilities. It highlights all the key issues and shows a simple diagrammatic relationship between them. This model is suggesting that the minimum things you need to think about when doing this manual will require at least 50 headings and probably many more, even if it is just to say this issue does not apply in this case and give the reason why. It discusses policy, procedures, work instructions but doesn't discuss what these are. And, apart from the policy manual, it doesn't discuss documentation of the process. This requires a model at a lower level than offered here which makes reference to requirements under international standards and State law. (R-7000)
*Site Emergency Plan
A full emergency plan for a site containing personnel and dangerous goods (hazardous materials, harmful substances) based on NSW Dept of Planning: Hazardous Industry Planning Advisory Paper No 1. It is fully worked out and contains personnel lists, dangerous goods lists, response plan for 18 primary events and related secondary events, response teams lists, external emergency services lists, internal emergency resources lists, and notes temporally organised for preparation of detailed procedures. It is designed to be used with R-3039, R-3054, R-3055, R-3057, and MSDS sheets such as R-3047, which are guaranteed as part of the download. (R-3056)
Company Money Laundering Policy Manual (Financial Sector)
An example of a policy manual (internal standard) for a company operating in the financial sector, focussing specifically on money laundering. We have based this plan on AS/NZS 4360:1995/2000 and FATF-40. International corporate planning document (with an Australian bias on definition of 'Money Laundering'). (R-0007)
Company Risk Policy Manual (Financial Sector)
An example of a policy manual (internal standard) for a company operating in the financial sector, based on AS/NZS 4360:1995/2000, and WGOR/1. It therefore needs to include concepts such as speculative or market risk, credit risk and operational risk. It includes models for each and a simplified preview model for project pre-planning. International corporate planning document. (R-0006)
Company Risk Policy Manual (Hi tech)
An example of a policy manual for a company preparing to tender for projects in the modern digital world, based on AS/NZS 4360:1995/2000, MAB/MIAC22 (Commonwealth, 1996) and Purchasing (Risk in Procurement) (Commonwealth, 1996). Examples of methodology for dealing with a particular array of risks. International planning document. (R-0001)
Contingency Plan (Accident)
A general contingency plan that clicks in for any accidental event involving any likelihood of serious illness or loss of life.
Contingency Plan (Bushfire)
A general contingency plan that clicks in on declaration (when there is stong likelihood of bushfire) or when any incident occurs involving bushfire.
Contingency Plan (Drought)
A general contingency plan that clicks in when drought is declared or when reservoir water levels fall to a certain level or rainfall levels fall to a certain level.
Contingency Plan (System Outage)
This contingency plan is designed for system outage. It describes the system, its related systems and their inter-dependencies. It shows how to calculate the risk factor based on the operational risk model and assists in describing three types of trigger, time-based or management-based. It promotes 2 types of strategy, a general strategy and strategies particular to the trigger. (R-2002)
Contingency Plan (Water quality)
A general contingency plan that clicks in when water quality falls to a certain level or when any incident occurs involving water quality or any incident that could impact on water quality.
DRP (Mainframe) Basic Plan Comparisons
This is the most rudimentary of all disaster recovery plans for a mainframe. It contains just the fundamental comparisons that underlies the DRP for a cold site, sometimes called the "current requirements" and "future requirements" comparisons. These are necessary because technology changes over time. It uses the calculations contained in the current requirements model. (R-2001)
DRP (Mainframe) Current Requirements Model
This current requirements model is designed for a disaster recovery plan for a mainframe, but could also be used for basic housing when planning to implement a new system. (R-2000)
DRP - Broad system focus (headings only)
This disaster recovery manual shows the likely headings for any large system. These questions need to be completed in detail and to be maintained regularly, so that the detail is always fresh, when the disaster occurs. (R-2003)

Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
The disaster recovery manual (DRP) is the key document that will be used at the moment of a declared 'disaster'. It needs to be kept up to date by the Disaster Recovery Co-ordinator so that all the elements in it can be relied upon at the moment of crisis. This DRP is based on a cold site plan but the structure can be used for cold, warm and hot disaster recovery plans. It contains examples of mainframe present and future requirements calculations and shortfall assessments. International IT planning document. (R-2004)
Disaster Recovery Plan for LAN - Strategic Plan
Following the September 11 phenomenon, the Board of Directors has asked the DRP Manager to identify the options available to them for protecting the LAN from a major disaster and prepare a strategic plan for arriving at a formal DRP which will guarantee readiness. This simple white paper discusses 10 different DRP options for three different types of networks, and gives a model that can be used for generating the DRP based on 6 levels of readiness. This is just the headings; you have to give it meaning. But from this simple model, a full DRP can be built. (Note:The associated DRPs are under construction by docDownload at present.) Operations Risk Model (5X5) - Qualitative and Quantitative
This white paper describes a risk model for operations risks. This risk model is at the highest level of planning. It is based on AS/NZS ISO 4360:2004 and HB 203:2004 and HB 436:2004 identifies five by five levels of indicators and five levels of risk. It promotes 25 indicators for historical recording over time. It shows qualitative and quantitative models and likely grouping for treatment using colour coding. It assigns responsibiltiy for operations risk to four levels of management. It gives examples of 35 exposures under 8 categories of operations risk based on WGOR/1. International corporate planning document. (R-0003)
Project Risks Model (5X5)
This white paper describes a risk model for project risks. The risk model used is the same model used for operational risk (5X5) based on AS/NZS4360 1995/2000. However, for good reason the model assumes that we will only need three levels of risk and therefore only two levels of risk management. It promotes a periodic review throughout the project of this assumption. It gives examples of 37 exposures under 4 categories of operational risk, based on WGOR/1. (AS/NZS-4360) (R-0004)
