This Service Contract is for a technical contractor (or technician) (or technical expert) to work on a project to be completed by a given time (the 'term') and to be paid for a given number of hours within that term. The contract requires an initial payment to get the job under way and has a 'backout clause' which allows the Client to cancel within seven days, but, after this date, both sides are committed to completing the job as agreed. The contract describes what technical contracting is, but, as technical contracting covers a myriad of possible international/national standards, local regulations and current best practices, licences and certificates, you need to analyse the project in Schedule B and certification requirements in Schedule E which leads to all the other elements needed to set up the contract. There is specific reference only to federal law and therefore can be used in any State. This includes reference to A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth), Acts Interpretation Act 1901 (Cth), Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Uniform Consumer Credit Code, Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) and Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988 (Cth).
